No Audio to or from connected nodes

Hi - brand new Openspot unit. Successfully upgraded firmware to latest. I'm trying to connect to DStar gateway repeater and reflectors using my Yaesu C4FM radios. I have successfully connected to gateway K4CPO - but I cannot hear any audio from the repeater and repeater user cannot hear any audio from me when I transmit. Repeater status page shows that I am connected.

I can connect to Ref001 and on the Openspot status page I see call signs of hams in conversation but I have the same issue. I cannot hear any audio from the reflector and the can't hear me call.

Are there any ports I need to open on my router?

Unfortunately, you can't do cross-mode between D-Star and YSF/C4FM

Hilton The reason for the incompatibility between these modes is that the codecs are different and the openSPOT doesn't have a transcoding capability. If it did it would require a lot more RAM and probably a much faster processor.

DMR and C4FM use the same codec which means the bit stream can simply be passed through unmodified.

I see call signs of hams in conversation, but I have the same issue. I cannot hear any audio from the reflector, and but they can hear me when I call. I am on C4FM and America link YSF 32592. If I call back to who I see in the Statues, then I can Carry on a QSO but I don't hear anyone that is on the scrolling menu on the Status page. Any ideas?

Check the RX DGID setting on your transceiver and make sure it is set to 0 or ANY or ALL.
