BM reflectors have been dropped in US.
If this happens globally, how will this impact Openspot BM users?

There's IPSC2 (former DMR+), and openSpot can connect to those. I assume openSpot2 can do it, too.

You can use both TGs and reflectors with the openSPOT1/2. Yes, openSPOT2 supports IPSC2 also.

My question was "BM reflectors have been dropped in US. If this happens globally, how will this impact Openspot BM users?"
So far, no reply mentioned the Brandmeister network.
I enjoy and appreciate the easy way I can presently switch between BM reflectors by means of private dials from the rig. Obviously if BM reflectors are one day discontinued globally I will not be able to do this. I've heard no mention of DMR+ doing away with reflectors so I anticipate no change in Openspot's ability to work DMR+ reflectors as at present.
I suppose the crux question is "If BM reflectors vanish, will there be a way developed which will enable OS2 users to switch between BM Talk Groups from the rig in a way analogous to present reflector practice?" If not, I see this as being a severe setback for OS2.

You can already use talkgroups the same way as reflectors. Just start talking on them. Unlinking a TG is done by starting a short group call to ID 4000 (TG4000).
If you want talkgroups to behave exactly the same as reflectors, you can use the openSPOT2's call rerouting feature which does rerouting automatically and you only need to talk to TG9 on your radio and you'll receive all calls to TG9 just like using a reflector.

Many thanks: I'll try that out.
