Hi ,i want ot know how many rooms of fusion/wires-x can access with the openspot.I am asking because i have the ftm-400 so i can talk to dmr and i want to try the wires-x rooms

If you currently have an openSPOT you can go into the Connectors tab and select YSFReflector or FCS under the Edit Connector drop down list. From there you can select the Server/room number drop down list and see all the available rooms/reflectors.

Thanks for the reply. No i don't have an openspot .I have at the past the 1 version and i was very pleased. But now i want to know how many rooms have and can connect .If it have limited access to rooms i go buy the yaesu HRI-200 .If the openspot have access over 50 or 60% of the rooms i go with the openspot because maybe i use also the dmr, for fusion to dmr

There aren't many official WIRES-X rooms that have been bridged outside of the WIRES-X network. Scrolling through the list on my openSPOT I only see maybe a half a dozen. Yaesu frowns on bridging WIRES-X rooms outside their controlled network. I would hold off on buying an HRI-200. Earlier in the year Yeasu announced that they plan on releasing a firmware update for FT-2D, FTM-100DR, and the FTM-400XDR that would eliminate the need for a HRI-200. They didn't release a lot of details though.

Is there a hook from C4FM to BM TG310? I'm a few firmware versions behind and don't see anything.

You're in the OpenSpot2 area. You may want to post that question in the troubleshooting section of the original openspot instead.

You're in the OpenSpot2 area. You may want to post that question in the troubleshooting section of the original openspot instead. It's too late now. No, there's not a bridge from YSF to BM TAC310.

The original openSPOT and the openSPOT2 will allow you to listen/talk to Brandmeister DMR talkgroups on a Yaesu System Fusion radio. From the original openSPOT manual, "Modem modes supported in this connector: DMR, D-STAR, C4FM, raw (with automatic cross mode conversion between DMR and C4FM DN mode)" .
Basically you setup the openSPOT to connect to a Brandmeister DMR talkgroup, make sure your openSPOT is connecting to Brandmeister successfully and passing talkgroup traffic, then go to the modem tab and and change the modem to C4FM. You should now be able to listen/talk on the Brandmeister talkgroup via your Yaesu System Fusion radio. It's pretty cool.
