Hello,
I’ve been an owner of an original OpenSpot for a while now. I’m trying to apply the same profile behavior in my Openspot2 as I did with my original.
I set up profile 1 for DMR inMMDVM/Homebrew mode. I renamed the profile as “BM-4310375” so I know it’s tor Brandmeister and the transmit/receive frequencies are 431.037500.
Then I copied that profile to slot 2. I booted to profile 2, changed the settings for my D-Star radio and preferences then renamed it to “DSTAR438800” as I’m using 438.80000 MHz for both transmit and receive.
When I go back to select profile 1, I’ve found that profile 1 has been renamed to be what I set as the name for profile 2. I rebooted into profile 1 and, not only did it rename profile 1, it also changed my settings from DMR/MMDVM to D-Star and the rest of the configuration is identical to what I set in profile 2.
I tried renaming profile 1 back to the same label I used for it in the first place.
I’ve tried the same thing but with different profiles/slots and found that I get the same behavior. If I changed profile 5 to Autocal and named it “AUTOCAL4310375” when I look at the other profiles and they’ve been modified to be identical to the Autocal profile.
I’d be happy to either demo what it is that I’m experiencing or to create a video, send logs, etc. whatever I can do to help. Just ask.

Also, I’ve found that when I switch between profiles, the Wi-Fi connection doesn’t always connect once the services are restarted. I’ve had to disconnect/reconnect the power cord to force the Wi-Fi connection to associate with my access points or my cellular hotspot.
