I tried several times to connect to my local wifi with no luck.
I can select my country, select my network, but before I get
a sign on screen, my browser says "your connection was interrupted".
I tried on a desktop computer and an iPad with same results.
Any suggestions?

The openSPOT2 switches to client mode from AP mode when you save a Wi-Fi network at the end of the init setup, so it will drop your computer/iPad's connection. Switch your computer/iPad back to your home Wi-Fi network after setting up the openSPOT2 and then use sharkrf.link to open the web interface.
Jerry
When I select my wifi network, I never get the screen to enter my password.
Therefore, the openSPOT2 never gets connected to my local wifi to
complete the setup.

Some users also reported that the openSPOT2 sees their Wi-Fi network as non-encrypted, so it does not ask for a password. We're investigating this issue. What's the brand and type of your router?
Workaround: click on the Exit button during the init setup (in AP mode) and go to the network page. Enter your Wi-Fi password there.
Jerry
Yes, the connection for the AP does show an unsecured connection even though it is not.
The router is an ARRIS model TG1682G
I am still trying to get the work around to go.

Correction - my wifi network shows unsecured even though it is not.

Ok thank you for the information! Please upgrade to the latest v15 firmware.
Jerry
I was able to connect using my cellphone. I then could go in
and add my home wifi information and then turn off the cellphone.
It seems to connect to my wifi now.
I have upgraded to firmware v15

The openSPOt2 seems to work fine on DSTAR and DMR but I cannot
make any C4FM connections.

Does the LED blink green when you press PTT on your radio?
Does openSPOT2's built-in echo service work on DGID 99? (set the radio's TX DGID to 99)
Does echo work on FCS server room 99?
Jerry
It seems to be working now. It appears the echo did not work on FCS reflector 2.
I went to reflector 3/99 and it is fine.
I also talked to a buddy on reflector 1 so I guess all is
working as it should right now.

Hi
I'm having the same problem getting to see my wifi Norbert sent me a link to try and update to v15 firmware, I'm disappointed that within 24 hours from Tallin it needs updating.
At the moment Norbert is not replying to my email request for an RMA number so i can return. A large ham store in the UK seams concerned about them too.
Maybe if have had an expensive mistake.

Jerry
I imagine they are swamped right now with requests.
I solved this issue by connecting to my cellphone which worked fine.
I could then get into the settings and add my home wifi information.
When I turned off my cell phone hotspot function,
it automatically connected to my home wifi and remembered it.

hi
jerry
first thing i tried was the phone it drops out soon on the phone after the password is entered with wifi.
Jerry
Try using your phone as a hotspot.
Then connect to your phone with another
wifi enabled computer such as an iPad, and the openSPOT.
You should then see the openSPOT AP.
You can then get into the settings
of the openSPOT2 and add your home wifi information.
When the phone hotspot is shutoff, the openSPOT will connect with your home wifi.

The currently selected FCS server is down (doesn't reply to the connection requests). Use another FCS server.
