I’ve tried everything. This os2 just will not connect to my iPhone X’s. Works about half the time on home WiFi. Many resets to keep it working. I have strong signals on WiFi so that’s not the problem. I had a os1 last year on a little WiFi link and it would not connect either. Had to get an android phone. Grrr.

I am experiencing the same problem. Does this issue persist?

Do you run the latest stable firmware?
What's the exact issue?

I set the name of my phone as the AP and set the password. I have no issue with other devices connecting to my phones hotspot. I power up the OpenSpot2 and I get "openspot trying to connect" and eventually it goes into local hotspot mode. As this issue is also one that affects pi-star hotspots I'm left wondering if it's perhaps the wireless stack as it's currently built. It could also be the current IOS build as I've had varying results enabling tethering right after a phone reboot.

Are you sure the OS2 goes to AP mode? If at least one Wi-Fi network is configured then the OS2 always stays in client mode and tries to connect to that network forever.

I updated the OpenSPOT2 to the latest firmware as of 11/11/2018. Despite the appropriate SSID and password the OpenSPOT2 will not connect to the iPhone's Hotspot WiFi network. The LED slowly flashes blue and this is intermittently punctuated by the LED flashing red while the device says, "OpenSpot trying to connect WiFi network".
Any suggestions as to what to try next would be greatly appreciated.

One more thing, I am unable to pull up the web console via any of the listed means.
