Hello all,
I am having trouble connecting the OpenSPOT2 to my iPhone hotspot. When I attempt to do this the OpenSPOT2 LEDs alternate blue and red. Also, I am unable to access the web console by any of the listed means, and I have tried the troubleshooting methods listed in the manual. My laptop computer is able to connect to the iPhone hotspot so I would assume it is running ok.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what to try next?

Thank you for your quick reply and tech support!
I believe that the OpenSPOT2's LED is mostly blue and very intermittently flashes red when the modem is transmitting that it is trying to connect to the wifi.
The iPhone connects to my laptop without difficulty. Would you suggest reseting the OpenSPot2?

Which firmware version is running on your OS2?
Make sure you enter the password to the OS2 case sensitive. You can always redo the initial setup by pressing the button for 3 seconds and then the OS2's LED will become white, signaling that it's in AP mode and it's broadcasting the openSPOT2 AP Wi-Fi network.

Thank you.
I am running the latest firmware as of 11/11/2018. Unfortunately, I have tried to enter AP mode to connect the device to the iPhone's hotspot WiFi but this hasn't worked.
What else could I try? Should I reset the device and start from scratch?
Thanks again for your help!

Have you tried doing the following:
- Switch the OS2 to AP mode
- Turn on the iPhone hotspot
- Connect to the openSPOT2 AP with a computer
- Select the country and then the iPhone hotspot Wi-Fi network on the web interface using the computer (so the iPhone is left untouched with hotspot turned on and the whole configuration is done through the computer)

Thank you for your additional help.
Yes, I have tried the steps you have listed and still I am not able to connect to the iPhone's HotSpot.
Should I reset the OpenSPOT2 some how?

Does the OpenSPOT2 take many minutes (~10 or more) to connect to the iPhone's wifi hot spot?
After reset of the OpenSPOT's profiles it is just slowly blinking blue. No connection to the iPhone....

Mine works great with my iPhone 8. But there were a few little things learned during the process. For the initial set-up I first turn on the phone Hotspot (with both WiFi and Bluetooth). Then I'll connect to it with my computer (MacBook Pro). The phone will indicate that they are connected. I'll activate the OS2 in AP Mode and it will show up on the available WiFi networks on the computer. Select it and after a second or two the initial set-up screen appears. Select country and then iPhone under the scanned networks. Input the password and the OS2 will connect to the phone. I have the Shark app on my phone so I can now open it and talk directly to the OS2 to adjust any settings. After the initial set-up the OS2 will automatically connect to the phone if the Hotspot is activated. I have both my iPhone and home WiFi networks saved in my profile(s). I was out of town recently and used the OS2 with the hotel WiFi. Worked like a charm and I just used my iPhone to set it up, connect and make changes. The Shark app really makes it easy.

Still no luck pairing with my iPhone.
However, I was able to easily pair with my trucks wifi. So this would lead me to believe there is something wonky with pairing on my iPhone or iPhone's in general.
Anyone else experiencing difficulties?

Update:
I had a special character in both my hotspot's SSID and password. When I removed these special characters the OpenSPOT2 connected right away to the iPhone.

Is this issue still persists with the latest beta firmware v21? We've made fixes for special character handling.

Good to hear!
I believe am using the V19 firmware.
