DMR stuff:
During handover of mic upon private calls a talkgroup takes over in the receiver.
I cannot push PTT quick enough to keep the private call alive when one of the TGs in selected in Brandmeister becomes active.
I have created seperate channels for my private calls instead of just talking them out of the contacts. Reason: upon mobile internet usage missing public IPs all too often lead to a loss of track. I.e. CCS7 calls via D-Star have never worked in the past if one of the participants tried without public IP (initial contact: YES, frequent PTT changes: NO)
Hang time in my Hytera PD785G is high with 6,0 sec, openSPOT2 unchanged 3000 ms.
But that only triggers how long my PTT (TX) will stay on the last DMR-ID or talkgroup but the receiver just starts shouting out anything coming in first. Then my private call is corrupted.
Perhaps it is my personal misunderstanding of the functionality but my question is:
How to tell the openSPOT2 the keep its "ear" open for the last used ID, no matter if private or group?
Where can I put a timer (hanger) for that task?
To make it all visual find the 3 important screen pics below.
Cheers for help!
