I'm a D-star and hotspot newbie so hope this makes sense.
I'm looking hard at the OpenSpot2.
Can I use the OS2 to monitor local (non-gateway) traffic on a D-Star repeater? I want to monitor the local traffic that is occurring locally (radio to radio thru the repeater) on a D-Star repeater in my daughter's home town during hurricane situations (while the internet is still functioning). I'm not talking about monitoring a reflector or traffic from the repeater that is going thru it's gateway into the internet.
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks!

In theory you can do it using 2 openSPOT2s linked together with the SharkRF IP Connector, one openSPOT2 is acting as a server and one is a client, however, we have not tested the openSPOT2 for receiving a D-STAR repeater's signal.
