Hi, I have been using my OS2 on my home WIFI and controlling it through the PC and everything has been working great, but I have a mobile WIFI unit, a Huawei E5573, and decided to try the OS2 mobile, I can get my phone, which is a Samsung S8 connected ok, I get the OS2 connected ok, but when I try to open the OS2 APP I keep getting this MSG "This site can’t be reached openspot2.local’s server IP address could not be found. Search Google for openspot2 local ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED" I have also tried the other options with no success. When my OS2 and phone are connected to my home WIFI I can open the OS" APP and it works ok, Thanks, Johnny.

Hi, I forgot to state that when my laptop & OS2 are connected to the mobile wifi everything works fine and the APP works ok too on the laptop.

A .local relies on using the local router as the DNS. If, as I do, you provision an external DNS, you’ll need to find the IP of the openspot and hit it directly.

Thanks for that, how do I find the correct IP for my openspot
HA5OGR
Make a private call to 9997 which is Openspot2 IP address query.

Is that Quick Setup then C4FM then FCS, thats the only options I have been using.

The active IP address can be queried by calling *B 9997 in C4FM mode and Openspot2 will announced your IP address.
