Setting dmr to nxdn
wb9jnz
I am not sure of the correct settings when going from dmr to nxdn. I see that there are 3 settings: 1.Default cross mode destination ID, 2.Always use this ID in cross mode, and 3.Allow only IDs as cross-mode callsigns. I do not understand how these should be set. I tried setting The Alabama Link which has a number 31010. Should the number in: Default cross mode destination ID, on the settings page under NXDN settings also be 31010? or a different number? Which box should be checked from the 3 above? It seems to default to: Always use this ID in cross mode. If you change rooms, should the number in Default cross mode destination ID also change with the room? I need some explanation of the 3 setting above and what they are doing. Thank you for your help.

Dear members,
I have read the instructions several times and I guess I am not understanding what all these settings mean. I am not familiar with nxdn. I have been trying to set the connector to nxdn and the modem to dmr. I have just been clicking on the warning box which comes up and I assume that this is what I should do. It seems that I am not being heard when I put out a call on talk group 9. Should I be using tg 9 for cross mode dmr to nxdn calls?
Thanks,
Eric

Please turn on advanced mode on the web interface, go to the Settings page, NXDN settings section, and set the Default cross mode destination ID to the NXDN TG you want to talk on. Set the Default cross mode source ID to your NXDN ID. Enable both Always use this ID in cross mode checkboxes.
