Hi there,
Here is what I want to do/try to do:
Profile 1 and 5 both have a DMR Modem and a DMR Connector (Brandmeister)
Both Profile have different API-Keys saved in them.
Profile 1 has several Static DMR Talkgroups configured.
Profile 5 should not have any static Talkgroups.
The Plan: By the great and easy „Change Profile Control Call“ I want to be able to fast and easily switch between those profiles and therefor lock out or bring in those static talkgroups.
The problem:
Whenever I change the set of static talkgroups in any profile with a Brandmeister connector, the change is also applied to all other profiles using a Brandmeister connector.
The question: is this a bug or a feature? Or -the much more plausible explanation- am I doing something wrong?

Talkgroup/reflector linking is handled by the network, not the openSPOT2. BrandMeister associates linked TGs/reflectors with the currently used DMR ID, so you have to use different DMR IDs in the profiles to make this work.

Is there no way to have the web interface remember what I want in each profile and change everything accordingly? After all we have the API key so the spot can change the TGs etc. Might want to push this in "requested features".
Webinterface saves List of static talkgroups for every profile. Upon reboot / profile change all TGs are reset and the new "correct" set is applied.
Thank you for the quick response! It is great to see that one really not only gets a great product but also good and fast customer service.

You can use the "auto connect" feature of the openSPOT2. Set it to the desired TG and also check the "Disconnect TG/ref. on auto connect" checkbox so the TG will become auto static (this is a BM feature).
