PRIVATE CALLS
GM7LSI Johnny
Hi, I have tried the OS2 to OS2 private call and it works great, but is it possible to get 3 or more into the the private call like the wires-x rooms.

You can create your own private radio network using the SharkRF IP Connector Protocol server. I run one on a Raspberry Pi.

Thanks for that info and the link, I will have a good read of that and see if I can understand it but I have never tackled anything like that before but I have someone I can get involved in it that has more understanding.

One possibility to have a small group chat at BM is, you may use your own dmr id as a talk group and configure that in one channel of the radio.

It's fun running your own private radio network. Give it a shot. If you have any questions post them to the forum. Someone will know the answer.

73 de Veijo Thanks for that Veijo, I didn`t know about that, I have done 1 to 1 with the DMR id but not more than that, I will look into that too.
