I have my openspot 2 transmitting and receiving my local repeater (Yaesu dr2x). The openspot2 is connected to FCS1 room 6. After the recent update all audio is distorted and garbled. I had to take the openspot 2 out of line. Any suggestions??

Do you also experience this using FCS echo on room 99?

I went to FCS 99 Echo it worked fine. I went back to FCS1 room 6, and everything seems to be working.
Maybe it was glitched??
Thanks
I'll let you know, if anything further.

I spoke too soon. After being on the air perfectly for about ten minutes audio got garbled again. I had to disconnect the openpot2!!

Do you mean others hear you garbled, or you hear others garbled? If you hear others garbled then make sure you've set the TX power to 100%.
What kind of radio do you use and which modem mode (C4FM or C4FM Half Deviation)?

I hear others garbled, and they hear me garbled, I will check on the TX being set to 100%, and get back to you.
Thanks

I use C4FM not half duplex. As previously stated it is transmitting and receiving through a Yause DR 2 x
repeater.

Dis-regard previous posts, I found out what was wrong. It was opertor error on my part.
Thanks for the support.

I see what is happening. This morning I set it back to FCS1 room 6 and all was OK. I came back about 3 hours later and all was garbled. This is because it automatically reset itself back to YSF US NY NJ Link, which I already have an Openspot legacy there 24 hours a day.
Obviously you cant have two Openspots on the same reflector going through the same repeater at the same time.
My question is what would make the Openspot2 revert back to the YSF reflector after I manually set it to the FCS reflector.?????

The openSPOT2 interprets Wires-X commands coming from RF. It has received a command and switched reflectors. You can disable Wires-X command interpretation on the Settings page, C4FM settings section.
