Using Openspot 2 with iPhone 10.
Everything works perfectly until I attempt to switch reflectors using the radio. Once I transmit the command with PTT to switch reflectors, Openspot 2 immediately recognizes the command, disconnects from the current reflector, and then stalls out in connecting to the new reflector while saying trying to connect. It will stay in that “trying to connect” state indefinitely. While in this state, inspection of the dashboard shows that Openspot 2 received the command to switch to the correct new reflector and is trying to connect to it.
Manually entering new reflectors directly in the dashboard will switch immediately and properly as expected. Openspot 2 only fails to switch reflectors when the procedure is initiated from the radio.

Which reflector are you trying to connect?

I’ve tried multiple reflectors including REF030C and REF001C. I checked ahead of time to make sure the reflectors were working before testing.
This behavior was not observed when OS2 was first purchased and setup. The problem has manifested after several months of problem-free usage.
As a testing measure, I performed a factory reset on OS2. That did not resolve the issue. As a secondary measure, I reset phone to factory defaults and setup as new. That did not resolve the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
* Turn on radio
* Set radio to OS2 frequency
* Initiate hotspot on iPhone 10
* Apply power to OS2
* Observe audio on radio: openspot profile one ready. Wait about 1-2 seconds. Observe audio on radio: openspot connected to REF zero three zero charlie. OS2 Is now connected to reflector. Radio transmissions with CQCQCQ successful on reflector.
* With radio, transmit REF001CL
* Observe no audio response from radio and OS2 immediately flashes blue/yellow indicating trying to connect to server. After one minute audio heard on radio: “Openspot trying to connect.” Audio repeats about every minute and OS2 never connects to server.
* Inspect dashboard: It shows that the command to switch from REF030 to REF001 was recognized with the following updated settings... Server: REF001, Module: C. Server continues to fail to connect.
* In dashboard, manually change server from REF001 to REF030 and select Save. Observe audio on radio: openspot connected to REF zero three zero charlie
* In dashboard, manually change server from REF030 to REF001. Observe audio on radio: Openspot connected to REF zero zero one charlie. Radio transmissions with CQCQCQ once again successful on reflector
Manually changing the reflector/server in dashboard works every single time. Trying to change the reflector/server from radio transmission fails to connect to server.

Please try enabling "Override DHCP DNS servers" on the Network page, IP settings section. If it does not help then please send us the device log to
info@sharkrf.com
(please refer to this forum thread) which shows what's happening (you can save the device log by clicking on the Export log button on the Status page).

Enabling "Override DHCP DNS servers" solved the problem. Thank you for the help!
