Version 30.
I am having problems changing OS Profiles from the radio, changing the Profiles from OS Settings works fine with no problems.
Profile 1 will select OK, 2 occasionally selects but takes several minutes, 3 will not select going from 1 to 3, 4 will not select going from 1 or 2, 5 will select only going from profile 1 but not from going from any other profile.
Settings in radio are all identical apart from the profile number i.e.9001, 2,3 ...etc. and checked and checked again....
This did seem to work OK previously in the earlier firmware version, however I have only recently tried to start using 3,4, and 5 properly.
The profiles contain 1 DMR, 2 Fusion, 3 YSF, 4 NXD, 5 DMR+ I am using a DMR radio.
All profiles work OK from OS settings, in any order and from any profile to the next whatever it is.
Thanks

What do you mean by it takes several minutes?
Do you mean that you call 9003, release the PTT, and the OS2 does nothing and then suddenly switches to profile 3 after several minutes?
Can you please describe what is exactly happening?

Hi,
Yes when you select 9002 from the radio (not actually 9003 as you said) assuming you are already in 9001 nothing happens for several minutes, the OS just does not respond, then after somewhere between 1 to 3 minutes it suddenly changes to the 9002 (Slot 2 ID:)
Also I have done some further investigation:
there are a lot of combinations, I have done several and I think the results below give a good overview of what is happening.
Going from 9002 to 9001 works, however it still takes about on to two minutes then suddenly changes.
Going from 9001 to 9005 takes about one minute, then the open spot flashes yellow and green, the status page then goes to Quick Setup, you cannot then select any other profile from the radio the only way to get out is select one of the other profiles from the settings in the browser page.
Selecting 9003 from the radio as long as you are already in profile 9001 takes about one to three minutes, then does change OK.
Selecting 9004 from the radio, which only seems to work if you are already in 9001 takes about one minute, the OS then flashes yellow and green and the Quick Setup page opens, you cannot get out or do anything unless you select another profile from the Settings in the OS browser, trying to select any profile in the radio does nothing.
Selecting 9005 from the radio, which only seems to work if you are already in 9001 takes about one minute, the OS then flashes yellow and green and the Quick Setup page opens, you cannot get out or do anything unless you select another profile from the Settings in the OS browser, trying to select any profile in the radio does nothing.
I hope that is of some help, as I said there are a lot of combinations to try, I have done as many as I can at the moment.
All profiles work OK when selected from the OS browser settings menu, in any order, from any current profile.

Yellow/green LED means the Null connector is active and then the Quick Setup will automatically show up if you load the web interface. You can close the Quick Setup by clicking on the Cancel button at the top right of the Quick Setup page. The Null connector is active by default on profiles which has not been set up previously.
What LED colors do you see after the moment you've released the PTT on your radio?

Hi, profile 9001,9002, 9003 goes from flashing green when pushing PTT to pulsing green on releasing PTT, 9004 and 9005 go from flashing green to Red, Blue, then Red then Yellow to pulsing green.
The quick set-up I understand you can close from the cancel button on the web page however what I am trying to do is to use the profile set-up remotely using the radio, I don't want to have to use the web page to re-set things otherwise I may as well just use the web page for profile selecting as well.
All of the profiles have been used several times but normally selecting them from the Settings page which works fine.
Many thanks

Hi, I wondered if you had any more thoughts on this, I'm pretty certain it is something to do with being in C4FM YSF mode or NXDN... once you have selected either one these you are then stuck in them, calling any Profile then does not work, in fact now I have managed a bit more investigation the OS does not even seem to see the call, i.e. no fast pulsing green light when you TX.. UNLESS you go from my profile 9001 which is DMR, then they work.
Thanks

Make sure you have set up the currently active profile correctly (modem mode, frequencies etc.).
Example: if you use a C4FM/Fusion radio, then turn Half deviation off in the radio and use C4FM modem mode on the OS2. If you can't turn off Half deviation in the radio then use C4FM Half Deviation modem mode on the OS2.
If you want, we can check your settings. Send your exported configuration profile file of the profile which is not working for you to
info@sharkrf.com
and refer to this forum thread. Also please describe in your email what is not working when you use this specific profile.
