I am experiencing packet loss when on DMR using my OS-2 with BM.
BM Last Heard overview is showing loss rate, one moment between 10 and 15%, next moment between 1-5% (all-in-all fluctuating)
OS-2 status is showing BER < 1%
OS-2 Echo/9990 call replay is providing sub-optimal audio incl. some stuttering
Environmental conditions:
DMR porto Anytone AT-D878UV (Low RF power)
Distance between porto and OS-2 less then 3m
Distance between OS-2 and WiFi AP less then 3m
AP Wifi channel 6
OS-2 FW v30
OS-2 max power
OS-2 Calibration completed
Homebrew/MMDVM connector / NL/2042 Server
Any thoughts ?
On a separate topic, the Anytone AT-D878UV porto is (becoming) immense popular in NL and beyond.
Any chance of including this device in the OS-2 user manual?

Do you experience issues also using the local echo on DMR ID 9999?
Have you tried using other servers?

Just run 2 tests on 9990 - both were ok (far better then this morning) with loss rate under 2%
Did also run 2 tests on 9999 - both were also ok (slightly better then on 9990) - couldn't trace sessions on BM though.
Haven't tried another server as opposed to the NL one yet.
Any particular one you can recommend ?
Ps. I believe a lot of dutch HAMs have been complaining wrt BM over the past few days (incl. slow or no LH page update).

As an interim step I've checked the internet connection quality and noticed it fluctuating between amber and red (although distance between WiFi AP and OS-2 is less then 3m and without any path blockers).
After moving the OS-2 closer to the WiFi AP (less then 20cm) the internet connection quality is now showing green.
As a result the packet loss rate is generally 0%.
This works fine (for) now at home but I am quite concerned that when mobile/portable you wont get the chance to move the OS-2 that close to the available WiFi AP.
Any thoughts ?
