I have had my openspot 2 for about 5 days. I have a Yaesu FT-70D. Connectors FCS and YSF work fine.
Trying cross mode C4FM to DMR
Connector tab:
Active connector: Homebrew/MMDVM
modem mode: C4FM Half Deviation
protocol: MMDVM
server: IPSC2-MINNESOTA (216.167.221.46)
port (UDF) : 55555
call sign: W0TDT
DMR ID: 3131773
Settings Tab:
DMR settings
color code: 1
echo id: 9999
default cross mode source id: 3131773
allow only ids as cross mode call signs: not checked
force source ids from modem: 0
send no inbound data to network: not checked
force talker alias to dmr network : blank
send no in-bound data to modem: checked
I can connect to the server, as shown in this log snippet:
16:06:29 net: init homebrew
16:06:29 homebrew: init
16:06:29 homebrew: init (mmdvm proto: 1 mode: c4fm)

16:06:29 configarea: storing profile sector 0

16:06:29 homebrew: sending auth
16:06:29 homebrew: auth ok
16:06:29 homebrew: sending config
16:06:29 homebrew: connected
I cannot hear any conversations, and when I request a signal check, there is no answer.
I am sure I have made some error, but do not know how to correct it.
I think the user manual could provide a little more detail on cross mode.

The easiest way is to use the Quick Setup to set up the connection.
Otherwise check the "Route cross mode calls to ID" setting on the Connectors page, Homebrew/MMDVM connector settings. This is the ID your C4FM calls will be forwarded to. Set it to the talkgroup you want to call with a group call.
