I purchased an OpenSpot2 about 6 weeks ago and I receive lots of poor signal reports on C4FM. Lots of drops and the drops even show up on the status page. Is there a way to test the unit to determine if it may be defective? I can use other "spots" from the same internet connection - but have no way to do an A B comparison on the OS2. I'm trying to talk via YSF reflectors from a Yaesu C4FM radio. It seems to receive okay but has a very choppy transmit.
thanks for any help/advice.

Please first test connection between your OS2 and radio using the built-in local echo service. Do you hear yourself back correctly?

I have read the manual and I am not following how to do this for C4FM. Is the any videos for how to do this. I have a FT-991a and I set the Digi ID to 99 do I need to set a YSF or FCF reflect?
Note: OS2 seems to be working fine I just wanted to see how it sounds but I am having no luck.

You can use the local echo service with any connector activated. On the FT2 I have to press the GM button, and then there's a setting for RX and TX DGID. You only have to set the DGID to 99 (RX DGID can stay at 00 or ALL).
