OS2 works fine when connected to my home wifi system. I am unable (with my limited knowledge) to get the OS2 to connect to the hot spot on my phone. When I shut off the wifi and open the hot spot on the phone, I get a message that tells me to "open the wifi on the other device". I assume that it is talking about the OS2? I have no trouble getting the hot spot on the phone to connect with my laptop. I am very confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Tom

Set up your phone's connection (SSID and key) as SSID #2 on the openSPOT2's Network page, Wireless networks section. Turn on advanced mode at the bottom right of the web interface so you'll see all SSID slots. This way the openSPOT2 will automatically try to connect to SSID #2 (your phone's Wi-Fi) if SSID #1 (your home Wi-Fi) is unreachable.
Make sure you enter the SSID and password case sensitive. Also if you are using an iPhone then make sure you copy and paste the SSID if it has any non-alphanumeric characters as the default SSID for the iPhone uses an apostrophe character which is special and can't be entered from the keyboard.

Thank you for your reply.
I did all of these things prior to posting my original question.
It may be that I was not far enough away from my home wifi for the OS2 to find the phone.
I will try again from a location away from my house as I will be traveling for the next three days.
Part of this trip will involve adding two different wifi systems to the OS2 to see if they work as I will want them available throughout the spring and summer months.
Thank you again.
Tom
