I received my openSPOT2 yesterday. Got it setup for D-Star, FCS, and YSF. Seems to work for the most part. However I have noticed a disturbing problem that I never once had with my old DVAP/pi-star combo.
During the course of several QSOs, I had the situation occur at least three times where I'd key up and talk for a minute or two... only to unkey and hear the other party talking. They hadn't heard a single thing I said. And they were wondering where I went.
This of course resembles a simple "double". But I think it's more involved than that. As I said... never once had this happen with my DVAP. Any ideas? It's as if the openSPOT had given up any attempt at transmitting during my entire keyup.

Which modem mode did you use when this happened?

Sorry... I'm catching in you email as well as here. I didn't know which was the best way to obtain support. I was in D-Star mode when I had the problem. I had quite a long QSO in YSF mode and it worked fine. However, the YSF reflector was not busy like REF030C is. REF030C is so busy that the chance of someone keying on you is much higher.

As you wrote an email about this, let's continue the discussion there.
