I recently purchased an OpenSPOT2. It has been working fairly well, however it was showing some instability disconnecting and reconnecting to the Brandmeister network randomly, and total fail the other day after the hack issue. Now however, it appears to be stuck in a loop. When the Openspot is set up as an access point using the web interface I can start the init setup and enter the country with the browser. The WiFi scan spinner starts, it does not find any WiFi, nothing happens and then the screen reloads and the AP is disconnected. Briefly the web interface says "Can't save init settings". This repeats with no end. I suspect this occurred after the latest firmware update attempted but failed to complete combined with the hack issue that I first saw also on April 17.
Using a serial terminal I can connect to the OpenSpot2 and reboot in Bootloader mode. This is the result below. There is only one file on the device (SRF-OSW.RDY) and it is ZERO Bytes. As it is now it is completely unusable. What can be done to restore this device? No FIRMWARE reload procedure is available. Please advise.

SSID is on... not a home WiFi, but the same occurs attempting to connect with my home and iPad's personal hotspot. All this began after a failed update that choked in the middle and required unplugging the OpenSpot. It never came back right.
