C4FM Question
KD9NOV
When making a call using my FT2 and my OS2 & checking our local reflector dashboard I cannot figure out why I see a call to *****E56qn instead of ALL as the target? Is this an openspot setting or something in the radio!
HA2NON
Your radio sends the calls to callsign "*****E56qn". E56qn is your radio's unique ID. This destination callsign is set by your radio, not the openSPOT2.

Thank you! I will check that..

Is there a way to have the OS2/OS3 replace the radio ID with "ALL"? The radio is Yaesu FT-5DR.
If not now, can you please consider this as a feature request for firmware updates.
HA2NON
"ALL" is not a valid destination callsign. It is only used by YSFReflector servers. A valid C4FM broadcast destination callsign is 10 asterisk characters, or 5 + the source radio ID.
