I just got my openspo2 tonight and I am getting the following Warning: callsign KC8WOW is not found in the DMR ID database! I registered May 16 and my DMR ID is 3141761. When I try and get my open spot set up, it is telling my my callsign is not found. I am at a loss. What can I do?

Dan, don't panic! This is pretty common as the dmr I.D. database for the OS2 is only updated once a week.
The next time the OS2 downloads the database I'm sure your's will be in it and your problem with be resolved.
Give it a few days...

Yeah but, today is Thursday, I got my DMRID last Thursday, which means the database should have updated this Monday and pulled in my ID. But it didn't.

I am having the same issue. But, my callsign was issued over a month ago, and is a vanity callsign.
It worked fine for a while, but is no longer found in the database. I don't know why, but for some
reason, it linked to my old callsign instead.

Dan, I'm sure they will catch it on the next update....
Maybe you should email them at
info@sharkrf.com
about your concerns...

I did email. I thought it wouldn’t work until it had my if, but Nord told me it was just a warning and things would work fine in the mean time.
I also spent a hour tweaking my code plug and now I am up and running.
All good now. Things will update whenever. Not too worried about it.

Good stuff, you might want to pass on what you learned to the forum for other people to learn....
