Hello, I am hoping for some guidance on getting the OpenSpot2 to automatically switch to other WIFI's that are configured in the WIFI list inside of the OpenSpot2.
The behavior I am seeing is that when I enter more than one wifi to the list that it will connect to the 1st entry but never the 2nd or third entry. I am attempting to make several entries so as I move the OS2 to the car leaving the house that the OS2 will automatically connect to cell data.
If I set only one setting for a home or for the car it works fine. So, if I have it working on house wifi and I move to car the OS2 just tries forever without success.
This all said I feel like I am doing something incorrectly. Do you have any guidance?

Try putting the vehicle in the first slot, home in second slot. In my experience when any WiFi disconnects, the OS2 appears to start searching at the top of the list. With the vehicle first, you won't have to wait for the search on the home slot to time out and the search the vehicle slot. Works well for me!
In other words, prioritize!

I will try that. Do you know the timeout setting? Seems I waited 5 minutes or more and never tried the 2nd entry.
Also do you know of way to change how long it tries before it looks at the next entry?

I don't know the settings...but I recall it was several minutes before it tried the next entry. On at least one occasion, it never connected to the next entry. That prompted me to switch the slots.
I don't see any setting that would alter the number of retries or the timeout span, nor do I know the current settings in firmware. Maybe a suggestion to Shark to allow those items as settings by the user?

Thank you again for your feedback. Yes, perhaps this is a setting that can be incorporated in future releases.

Update. Here is what I found. When moving from my house to the car the OS2 would try to connect to VZ wireless on the iPhone. Even though the iPhone hotspot was enabled on the phone the OS2 would not connect until I opened the screen on the iPhone for the hotspot setting. Turns this also holds true for laptop too.

Yeah... I should have mentioned that! Not sure about Android phones, but iPhones only advertise the personal hotspot when actually on that screen...and even then, only for a short time. So (at least with iPhone), timing and sequence of hooking up is important!
Apologies for leaving that tidbit out.
