I am moving a lot between indoor use of my mobile phone over my local WLAN devices, have in total 4, and my mobile network outside my home. The handover of the Internet is always 100 %.
But I have never succeed to have the OpenSpot2 to make a seamless handover to my mobile phone when coming outside my home. Even if I do a reset of the OpenSpot2.
The process to have the OpenSpot2 act like a AP is very very slow! Maybe 10 - 15 resets are needed! Bringing it back to the WLAN is frequently failures.
What I am doing wrong? Something wrong with my unit?

You don't have to do a factory reset, just allow 1-2 minutes for the OS2 to change Wi-Fi networks. Also keep in mind, if you activate AP mode by pressing the button for 3 seconds, and you complete the initialization setup, the 1st configured Wi-Fi network in the OS2's Wi-Fi network list will be overwritten with the network you've chosen during the initialization setup.
Here's a quick tip on setting up the OS2 both for home and phone Wi-Fi connections:
Go to the Network page, Wireless settings section on the OS2 web interface. Make sure Advanced mode is turned on (there's a checkbox for that at the bottom right of the web interface). Set your home Wi-Fi as SSID #1 (and key) and your phone's Wi-Fi as SSID #2 (and key). If your home Wi-Fi (SSID #1) is not reachable then the openSPOT2 will automatically try to connect to your phone's Wi-Fi (SSID #2).
Make sure you enter passwords case sensitive.
If you use an iPhone then make sure you use the Save button at the Wireless scan list to save the iPhone's Wi-Fi network to SSID #2 as it contains a special apostrophe character which you can't enter using your keyboard.

Hi!
Thanks for answer.
On problem is that I do not want to change everything in my network to fit subnet x.x.1.x which subnet OS2 use. I have very many IP devices using subnet x.x.0.x and I want to stay there!
During my try to do as you say me to try I have lost my possibilities to start up SharkRF in the browser due to always force me to 192.168.1.138! Which subnet I do not use in my network.
How do I find my phones Wi-Fi key related to it's local internet/ethernet connection?

Sven, if I understand your problem it should be easy to resolve by placing your mobile wifi in the first slot of the OS2 wifi settings. Then place your home wifi connection in second slot. Remember to save your settings before rebooting.

Hi!
When QS is done it switch back to WiFi but trying to start SharkRF is possible but choosen to connect to OS2 is impossible. I can't reach Advanced network settings which I could before setting up new SSID.
I have also done a reset of the unit with no progress at all.
Can't use my OS2 for the moment!

I think you mean the initialization setup (which consist of 2 steps: choosing the country of operation, and selecting the Wi-Fi network to connect), and not the quick setup (QS).
Keep in mind, that the Wi-Fi network you select during the initialization setup overwrites SSID #1 in the Wireless settings Wi-Fi list.
The OS2 does not choose it's IP address by default. The default is to use DHCP which means that the Wi-Fi router (or your mobile phone) assigns an IP address to the OS2.

Hi!
Step 1 to log in to openSPOT2 AP is ok. I can choose country and WiFi network to connect. Writing my network key and push connect, I can view, for a short time a openSPOT2 info page with no info filled in for my OS2. No SharkRF, by automatic startup page, is shown.
If I by manual startup my SharkRF in my web brower on the Android mobile, I see first page but when try to connect, it indicates correct UID, but SharkRF tries to connect 192.168.1.138 but failed. Should not OS2 ask for a IP address with x.x.0.x subnet?
I have 3 IP based SDR recievers which I have forced with static IP addresses via their MAC addresses to subnet 0 and that works well! I have also tried the same with OS2 but that was not a success!

DHCP clients are not allowed to choose a subnet. They use the IP address the router gave to them. Make sure the openSPOT2 is connected to your Wi-Fi network before using sharkrf.link (make sure the LED is not white or blue), and also make sure you are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network with your browser device (phone/tablet/computer).

HI!
Error message when trying to get SharkRF to work is ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE when it trying to reach 192.168.1.138. The Netgear Wi-Fi gateway I trying to reach has 192.168.1.250, but also 192.168.0.151 in the router. My main router has 192.168.0.1
Both my mobile and OS2 is connected to th same Wi-Fi gateway point.
As I am no network pro I have little bit hard to figure this out myself I need your help.
Regards,
Sven

Check if you have more than 1 routers (DHCP servers) on your network. Turn all DHCP servers off except the one in the main router.

Hi!
I have a Technicolour router from my Internet provider with built in DHCP which is a must for all my other units depending of DHCP and I have also and Netgear EX6150 WiFi Range Extender with no built in DHCP.
I have both tried the 6150 and the router for WiFi connect but without any success. As soon trying to shift back back from SharkRF to my WiFi network an error occurs with the OS2 IP 192.168.1.138, not allowing any further communication.
I do not think there are any other DHCP than the one in the router.

Based on what you wrote there are 2 DHCP servers on your network, that's why you have 2 subnets. You can also set a static IP address for the OS2 in the subnet you can reach.
