I have the OpenSpot2 set up with five configurations as follows:
* Configuration 1 = DMR Homebrew/MMDVM connected to BM 3103
* Configuration 2 = DMR to FCS002,70
* Configuration 3 = DMR to YSF MVARC 43210
* Configuration 4 = DMR to YSF Idaho 22198
* Configuration 5 = DMR to FCS002,13 Idaho
I can successfully select a configuration by transmitting on a channel with TG 9001 through 9005. However, configuration 4 is unable to reach the server, and if I attempt to select another configuration, such as configuration 1 by transmitting with TG 9001, then the configuration will not be selected. It appears that the configuration selection by TG only functions if a server is successfully connected to.
There was a TG9 announcement on configuration 4 that indicated that the configuration was selected, and then a second announcement of
OpenSpot trying to connect to server
. It would be useful to allow a different configuration to be selected, via the TG transmission method, when the server cannot be reached.
Work around: Log in to web page and manually change the configuration via the Settings page.

Changing from group call to private call does result in the ability to change configuration when the server is unreachable. However, the manual specifically states the following within subsection
Change configuration profile
in the
Control calls
section:
ID 9000+configuration profile number. Example: to switch to config profile 1, start a short call to 9001. Both private and group calls are interpreted.
It might be worthwhile to update the manual to indicate that only Private Call should be used.
Thank you.
