Using a new Openspot2 with a Yaesu FT3D with software running on a Mac. I have successfully connected to YSF Reflectors but cannot get DMR Homebrew/MMDVM to work. When I try to access a room I get a message that my call sign is not recognized but it is definitely in the database at RadioID. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Rick KN4ZDX

Make sure the DMR ID database on your OS2 is up to date. Our database is usually updated on every Monday. Otherwise you can ignore the message as the OS2 does not filter based on the database.
Test your connection using a BrandMeister server's echo service by starting a private call to DMR ID 9990. Make sure it's a private call, otherwise the server won't answer. You can change where the OS2 sends your calls on the Connectors page, Homebrew connector settings, "Route cross mode calls to ID" field. Enter 9990 there and select private call.
If the echo test is working properly, then change this field to the TG ID you want to talk on, and change the call type to group. You can also use the Quick Setup to set up the OS2 for cross mode operation on a specific TG.

Norbert, I am very sorry if this is a dumb question - where do I input 9990 to start a call? Would you please be specific about which tag in the dashboard to insert it? Thanks.
