First off, I love the openSpot2, not just the hardware but the software online. My vision is not always great with my Icom 4100a so I really like having the SharkRF interface. Makes switching reflectors and recording activities a breeze. So what was learned?
1. (most important) You need a strong WiFi connection. Even though I had a wireless WiFi signal in my shack, it was not enough to stop reconnection and endless loading of the openSpot2 interface. So my solution was the NETGEAR WiFi Range Extender EX2700 $24.62 on Amazon. Since the install, perfect signal.
2. Place your openSpot2 close to transmit source. It works best for me, but just a suggestion.
3. I use the SharkRF link...

to bring up the interface. Always dependable.
4. Browser tip: Turn off any adblocker extensions for SharkRF domains. I use Chrome.
Well, I hope this helps some of you hams out there, see you on the digital expressway. WX4LAB
