I haven't used my OS2 as much as I'd like, but I thought I recall that DMR IDs displayed "firstname lastname" in the Call Log on the Status page. Mine's displaying "firstname mi" and no last name. Has it always done that?

Some users only have their first names in the DMR ID database.

For me, it's doing this for every user:

I looked, and these guys in particular have their "first mi last" in the database. Maybe there's a setting somewhere I've overlooked?
I'm on v59; I'm upgrading to v61 right now, but I don't see anything in the notes.
Thanks.

The entry for KD5LII looks like this in the database: 3154511","KD5LII","Jerry L",,,"United States"
The entry for AD5EZ looks like this: "3150576","AD5EZ","Lloyd D",,,"United States"
As you see, the openSPOT2 displays what's in the database.

Actually, they look like this in the RadioID.net DB:
3154511 KD5LII Jerry L Zeiss Amarillo Texas United States
3150576 AD5EZ Lloyd D Green Lubbock Texas United States
The OS is dropping last name, City, and State. Is this a perceived confidentiality issue? The same info is freely available to anyone on the FCC's site, as well as numerous other lookup venues.

I referred to radioid.net dumps. They only have names in the format "Jerry L". The openSPOT does not use city, state, etc. information.

Here's a few lines from today's dump (user.csv), including my own callsign info. The "missing" info is most certainly included:

Sorry, but I don't understand. The dump you've included also have the names in the format "Walter R".

It's not really critical since we mostly use first names, but it would be helpful to have OS display first (which appears to in some cases be first+mi)
and
last names on the display. Maybe my question is really a feature request. Thanks.

There are separate data elements for the first and last name. "Walter R" is the first name element containing his first name and middle initial. The last name element contains "Dudley".

It looks like I am having a similar issue where my DMR ID 3162829 is not being located by my Openspot2. I am running a Retivis RT52 and I think I have setting set correctly. How often does this list update? I will wait until Openspot2 updated the new DMR user list.
Many thanks,

DMR ID 3162829 was not in the database at the last update (9th March).

The I.D. is valid 03/18/2020

Yes, and your ID is included in the last update (16th March, we usually update our ID database every Monday)
