Changing to other BM-Talkgroups using DStar-Radio?

Cannot find in manual how to change to another Brandmeister TG using a D-Star TRX.

Idea?

So I put in a TG, say 31362G in urcall and key up. Then to talk I put the radio back to CQCQCQ? I’m missing something because it only works if I leave the urcall on 31362G. What am I missing?

From user manual.

"You can update the Route cross mode calls to ID with a D-STAR® radio using two methods:

Set the ID and call type in the D-STAR® radio's URCALL, then start a short call. After the short call, set back the URCALL to CQCQCQ. Examples:
2161005P - private call to 2161005
216G - group call to 216
216 - group call to 216 (if there's no G character then the call type is set to group call)
DTMF codes: you can start a short private call to an ID by entering * followed by the destination ID in DTMF code. You can start a short group call to an ID by entering # followed by the destination ID in DTMF code. Examples:
#3100 - group call to 3100
*4770 - private call to 4770"

So. Let’s pretend I asked the question because I read the manual and could not get it to work. As a result I might have missed a setting or something. Maybe someone could take pity and explain what I might be doing wrong based on my question. Thabks

Thank you for noticing the issue. Fix will be available in beta firmware v7. After the fix, it will work as described in the user manual, so you can leave the URCALL on 31362 (no G character is needed in case of a group call, as it is the default), or if you want, you can switch back to CQCQCQ.

DTMF call method works on v6 beta firmware.I'm sure because I tried it. Currently I am testing v7 beta firmware and the group / private call method works well as Norbert wrote.

I don’t dispute that it works. It wasn’t working for me and I was asking if perhaps I misread the manual or there was another setting I was supposed to adjust.
