I know this has been discussed several times, but it is really annoying that a 6MB file over a 20 Mb/s internet connection takes a long time, then fails. I am running firmware v67 and the callsign database typically reaches 60% before failing and re-starting all over again. The callsign database is version 202005251001. It has been trying and failing for around 3 hours this morning.
Isn't there a better way to update the database? Not only is it incredibly slow, but unreliable too.

The OS2 resumes interrupted database downloads. It restarts the download only if it has been retried without success several times, or the device is rebooted. Please place it close to your Wi-Fi router.

Except it was only 150mm from the Wi_Fi router. The download restarts over and over again, it got the file downloaded eventually, but it really is poor. I can download a 5GB Windows installation file in less time than it takes to install a 6MB callsign list!

A thought. Have you tried moving the OS2 further away from the other WiFi device?

I had the same problem today, about 6 attempts to download the database, was getting to about 60-70% then just stopping, manually re-starting the database download the same thing happened. Eventually on the 7th attempt it did get to 100% then verified OK.
My OpenSpot2 is near my wifi sender and always takes about 5 min to download over a fast internet connection !!
