Hi guys,
please implement the DG-ID YCS Fusion II list to the openSPOT2 too.

I concur with Michael's request and hope that the DG-ID
function will be added soon. I know a lot of hams who would
like this also.

The DG-ID YCS function is only available in the openSPOT3.

Hello Norbert,
I have two OSP1s, one OSP2 and one OSP3.
Should you stick to not implementing this important function in the OSP2, I would not buy an OSP4 ...

From the openSPOT2 product page:
"Note that no new firmware upgrades are planned currently as it implements all advertised features."
While I sympathise with your request, I know that businesses cannot continue to enhance discontinued products.

I already know that sharkRF is a company, but , i hope, that they are radio amateurs too....

After some trial and error I found that I can change reflectors on the YCS server YCS262 Germany
easily by changing my DG-ID TX on my FT-2D. The Pi-Star image by EA7EE makes this a lot easier by
transporting a whole list of DG-ID's to the server, but I can live with the OS2, which I like a lot more,
as it has less bugs and is a bit smaller and easier to set up. One day, if I have the money left, I might
acquire an OS10 or 11

Hello Norbert, it is sad, that if you have bought a device from you, you know exactly that it is already outdated. But I will not buy an OS3 or a successor, because this business policy is absolutely against me. I hope many others will look for other products like me, which will be supported and developed further after the end of the sale. Without question your products are good as long as you sell them actively. But after that you actually have a briquette in your hand technologically speaking, although there is still a guarantee on it.
This text was translated with DeepL, because I make as much effort as SharkRF does with their end of sale products.
But one more tip. Just close the feature request forums for discontinued products. This will give less frustration for the paying customers, because you don't do any of this anyway.
