Can Connect to OpenSpot2 to Configure
KD9LIL
I am beyond frustrated with trying to connect to the OpenSpot2 via wi-fi to do the initial setup. I have followed the users guide to the letter and used the forum (but the responses just restate what the manual says). No matter what I do I can't connect to the web interface to do the initial configuration. I've used my Windows 10 PC and my Linux laptop. I do have a meshed TP-Link Deco wi-fi network in my home for whole house coverage. All PCs are up to date including Chrome and FireFox browsers. I connect to the OpenSpot2 wi-fi network but can't initialize the web interface to configure the OpenSpot2. I'm about six feet from one of the mesh network devices and run at a 85% + . I've literally spent hours trying to get this to work.
Thanks, Duane

What status LED color do you see on the device?

After more troubleshooting the OpenSpot2 was seeing three wi-fi SSIDs for my mesh wi-fi network, one broadcast for each mesh device with a unique MAC address. Not sure where the displayed MAC addresses came from because they didn't match the mesh device MAC address on their labels. After trying multiple times, I finally hit the correct SSID and MAC address combination and was able to get into the OpenSpot2 and configure it. This works fine on my Linux Mint 20.2 laptop, but still out the issue on Windows 10. This issue can be closed.

After more troubleshooting I was able to finally connect to the OpenSpot2 using

web link and the OpenSpot2 UID. This issue can be closed.
