Hello all,
I am using a jet pack for my internet connection as I do not have wired service at this location. I had my openspot 2 working on my cell phone mobile hotspot. I had gotten the jet pack information put in to the network settings. It worked fine but then when I changed profiles it keeps saying trying to connect to the network and does not reconnect. I tried both the jet pack (a wireless hot spot) and my mobile hotspot on the phone but neither will connect. Before I changed the profile, it worked fine. Now I cannot get at the dashboard to see what is going on as the rf link does not come up on the computer. Why is it loosing the connection as the profile does not change the network connection I don't think? I tried turning off and on the mobile hotspot and disconnected power and re connected the power to the openspot 2. It will still not connect to the newwork. Red light blinking radio says trying to connect.
Thank you,
Eric

I discovered the answer to my own problem.
1. Make sure to check the save network connection to all profiles, a small box above the first network ID and password slot.
2. If you loose the connections and cannot access the dashboard, go to the AP setting. Make sure that the router or mobile hot spot is turned on. It seems to find it automatically. Then re enter openspot, then enter the password to the wifi router in the space the openspot gives you. You may have to click connect, I don't remember. It then leaves AP mode and connects to the router. I then went to the Network settings tab, entered the information for my cell phone, click save. And check the box to save it to all profiles otherwise it will not connect if you change profiles.
3. It will overwrite whatever was in position 1 for network settings so I will have to re-enter the router that was in position 1. Make sure to save the network information or it will not keep it under network settings. Make sure to enter the correct wifi password. If there are errors it will not connect.
I hope this can help someone else.
