Hi, I have an OPENSPOT-4 I WOULD LIKE TO USE WITH my Anytone 878 plus but in CROSSMODE DMR / YSF, one at a time it works ..... question: but to use the 2 protocols I have to change the profiles every time ?? ? I can not configure them together and use them if necessary ..... thanks

If you want to change connectors or modem modes from your DMR transceiver then you can use separate configuration profiles and switch between them using the transceiver.
antonio
I understand that it is NOT possible to have the 2 DMR / YSF profiles together by software ?? do you have to change from the radio? thank you
HA2NON
You can only change the active connector with a DMR transceiver by switching configuration profiles. However, you can use the Wires-X button menu to change the active connector from a Yaesu transceiver.

I was hoping it would work like the Pi-star I have DMR / YSF configured together in the software to use my DMR radio with the 2 protocols without doing anything on the radio.
HA2NON
If you don't want to control the openSPOT4 from your transceiver then you can use the web interface to switch between DMR and YSF servers. I don't think Pi-star based hotspots work differently.
antonio
I'm sorry, how do you change the protocol from the radio, thank you.
HA2NON
Do you want to change the currently active modem mode, or do you want to change the currently active server/network?
antonio
I wanted to be able to switch from the radio DMR if possible (crossmode) from dmr to c4fm / ysf, or configure the 2 protocols from the software, thanks

HA2NON
Do you want to switch between a DMR (Homebrew/MMDVM) server and a YSFReflector server using your DMR transceiver?
antonio
YES!!
and also use 1 separate radio dmr and 1 c4fm (yaesu)
antonio
configured and working, DMR radio and YSF REFLECTOR, I only have one problem ... ALL OM in tX have my name and call sign!
HA2NON
If the openSPOT4 can't resolve the incoming call's DMR ID to a callsign (or vice versa) then it uses the "Default cross mode source ID" (or callsign), which is by default set to your ID/callsign.
antonio
So I didn't understand, is there a solution ?? Can I do something to correct?
with the PI-STAR it's fine, only a few names happen.
antonio
given the mediocrity of the product, I ask you to return me !!! How can I proceed? Thank you.
HA2NON
It happens if the remote party's callsign or DMR ID can't be found in the DMR ID/callsign database. Ask them to register on radioid.net
