I'm hoping someone can help me. I had lost my OS3 during my move to a new house. After two years, I have finally found it. When I turned it on and rebooted it, it no longer seems to want to connect to the internet. Even more strange, is that it connects for some things but not others. Here is what I have done.
1. Factory Restore
2. Boot to BOOTLOADER
3. RESTORE v62 successfully
4. Connected to my home Wi-Fi successfully
5. Inserted my call sign and had it find my DMR and NXDN ID Successfully.
The OS3 DOES connect to my WiFi, I can access it on my network via IP only. It will not connect to the sharkrf.link server. I looked at the logs on the status screen and the errors that are coming up are almost as if it doesn't know how to resolve DNS.
20:24:17 net: img.sharkrf.com resolve error
20:24:17 nvmm: verinfo check failed
20:24:17 nvmm-http-time: downloading
20:24:17 net: time.sharkrf.com resolve error, retrying
What is strange is that my network DNS works fine. My DHCP DNS is fine. If I override the DNS with Google, it still produces the same problem.
Anyone have any idea?

Check the firewall settings on your router - something may be blocking the openSPOT3's internet access.

No firewall settings are getting in the way. I have even expressly permitted all of the sites and the MAC address of the OS3 just to be sure.
Also, my OpenSpot 4 works just fine on the same network which is why I know it's not the firewall.
One thing that I have noticed is strange.. My OS3 Device ID is showing up as all 000000. Could there be a hardware issue?
