Hello:
This might be a dumb question. I have a few hotspots and generally have them spaced at 300khz. For this example, lets say OS3 is on 438.400 and a TGIF Hotspot on 438.700. Both on YSF but different reflectors.
When a transmission is heard (reflector or group) on the OS3, its also heard on 438.700, clear. Testing was with an FT3 and FT5. The received audio is clear on 438.700, 300khz away. OS3 is on 5mw. I turned oo the TGIF Pistar based hotspot in case it was picking up the TX from the OS3 and rebroadcasting it. It was not, The same issue happens with the TGIF hotspot off.
The other interesting part is that if I step the frequency down from 438.700 and closer to 438.400, its not heard until its exactly on 438.400 (or 438.700).
Is 300khz too close for two hotspots?
Any ideas and suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
