Thanks for the response. I'm familiar with the DTMF commands. My question was a little more nuanced/specific. FYI, for the below scenarios, I’m only concerned with using the transceiver itself, and not the OpenSPOT web interface.
I'm essentially wondering if there is a "shortcut" or "one button" key for C4FM transceivers to temporarily link the PTT to the active DMR TG when one has many static DMR TGs.
DMR/Anytone Transceiver Example: I have 15 Static DMR Brandmeister TGs. When a particular TG is active and I'm interested in responding, I can quickly hit the star or asterisk button on the Anytone transceiver to “activate” that TG for lack of a better phrase, so the next time I hit the PTT on the Anyone transceiver, I’ll be communicating with that TG.
From what I understand, when using a C4FM transceiver with many static DMR TGs, if I hear a TG that I wanted to communicate with, I must enter # followed by the associated TG, and then hit the PTT to speak to that desired TG.
I was just wondering if there was a shortcut, single button that I can depress so that the next time I hit the PTT I will be responding directly to the active TG like the Anyone transceiver allows.
