OS 4 No RX in any mode (tx fine)

Hello, I have had OS1,2,3 very happy. Now a Openspot 4; Hardware Ver1 Firmware V31 that has developed a fault and does not receive. It transmits fine. Tried changing frequencies, tried changing modes (DMR, DSTAR). Tried resetting modem configuration. Upgraded to V34 but no difference, still no RX.

I also own a OS4PRO, it is programmed the same and it works fine, RX & TX with my ID-52 and AT-878. So i know my network, modem configuration and radios are working. When i transmit on the OS4 i see the RSSI jump from -127 to -47 (HT close to OS4, on 100mx TX power) but BER always flat-lines. Its seeing RF but not perhaps not able to demodulate. The LED does not flash quickly (which indicates its receiving and decoding correctly, i believe)

Asking here before requesting it be sent back for warranty replacement in case anyone has ideas. Thanks Kevin VE7OVY

First test with your D-STAR transceiver. Make sure the modem mode is set to D-STAR on the OS4. Does the status LED blink green when you press PTT on the D-STAR transceiver? If yes, then please test the connection between the transceiver and the OS4 using the built-in local echo.

Hi, No the green status light on the OS4 does not blink rapidly when i press PTT on my ID-52. It just continues slowly pulsing green (as if it is not receiving anything). I also tried DMR autocal and it just shows "searching for a transmission". I have tried different frequencies but same result.

Please verify if your transceiver is transmitting with enough power and both frequencies match in your ID-52 and the openSPOT4. Also send us your exported configuration profile file to info@sharkrf.com and refer to this forum thread in your email.

I tried transmitting up to 1 watt 1m away from this OS4. My ID-52 radio works fine with my OS4PRO on same settings and frequency, so i know its not due to lack of transceiver power. Unfortunately the OS4 acts as if it is 100% "deaf". I will save the file and email as suggested. Thank you.
