Openspot4 pro does not recognize Vanity Call Sign Change

I changed my call sign and have now re-registered in RadioID.net and Brandmeister. I have re-set the OS4 to my new call sign but it will NOT recognize it and says not in ID database. When does this update?

RudySuarez still not updating. Can someone explain how this update works? Is it that difficult?

The database is updated weekly, usually Monday mid-morning European time.

Tyrbiter thank you for the information. Do I need to leave OS4 on or will it update automatically

It should update automatically, but once it's European Monday morning in your time zone you can always update manually.

How do you update the database manually on an openspot 4 pro?

The openSPOT4 does not need database updates.

I have the same problem. I've reset the OP4 and still not connecting. RadioID and BM all switched over. Anyone else know if there is something I'm missing?

PaulTakamoto Have you changed the owner's callsign on the Quick Setup page?

@HA2NON Yes, I was able to successfully connect to BM network without issues. I happen to reset the OP just to make sure I did not overlook an area. My personal test was the America-Link 90 which had worked flawlessly prior to the CS change. Any other suggestions?

What is the exact issue you have? The America Link server does not connect? What status LED color do you see on the unit while it is trying to connect? Have you tried other YSFReflector servers?
