HA2NON Thank you for the suggestions. I did as you requested.
Disabling band steering did not help. The Wi-Fi bandwidth was already set to 20Mhz. And the channel used is automatically selected based on which channels nearby signals are using. It only chooses between the three as you suggest.
The openSPOT4 Pro is the only device that is giving me trouble. And I will say I was reaching a point of frustration today where I was honestly considering going back to my six raspberry pi hotspots.
But I would like to find a solution to this. The device from my cable company is by Technicolor... model XB7-T. It has a firewall feature. Disabling that also did not help.
I would welcome any other suggestions you might have.
