When listening to the OS4 audio on the PC or phone, the audio is perfect. However, when listening on the Icom ID-5000, The audio drops for about 1 second every 6 seconds. This is very regular - regardless of the digital mode in use at that time. When the audio is working, the signal strength is strong. When the audio drops, the signal strength is zero. The PC OS4 application network page indicates "Internet connection quality: ● OK".
I suspect (but am not sure) that the problem is not with the OS4. Nevertheless, I've increased the dejitter queue (by a factor of 10, no dropped packets detected), tried different networks (verified strong signals), checked router settings, different OS4 servers, different 5100/OS4 xmit/receive frequencies, different ID-5100 DSTAR settings, downloaded the latest firmware.
When using DSTAR natively on the 5100 (no hotspot), the audio is normal. I've followed all steps in the openspot trouble shooting section of the manual but have come up empty. Advice greatly appreciated.
