when i cahnge from one relector link REF 0001C to another refletor REf 0030C it keeps saying not Linked !!!!

can any help or advice what imm doing wrong

What Status LED color do you see on the openSPOT4 when this happens?

When a person is taking it flash red
When in stand by it green and red

When I try another reflectors is go to it say trying to connect and is flashing red and blue

When it talk to me say I’m cannot connect it flashes red

What do I need to do it only two days old

Please see the meaning of Status LED colors in the user manual at https://manuals.sharkrf.com/openspot4/en/led-states.html#page-top

The LED will show the blue and red state if the openSPOT4 is connected to a Wi-Fi network, trying to connect to the selected server, but it can't because there's a problem with the internet connection. This error can be caused if the router, network, or the internet service provider is using a proxy or some kind of traffic filtering which blocks the openSPOT4 from connecting.

As the Mobile phone says its connects to the other reflector and works
why would it not connect to the other reflector

it does not make sense the phone says it still connected the open spot says connected but when i change reflector its say not connected

how do i check it connected on the open spot if your saying no internet or connection

What can i change or alter please

Update

i seem to be able to conect to most reflectros except Refletor 001c All the other conect straigt away

i have reset thr unit a few time now same issue will not conect to 001C

Any help would be good

I have a zumspot so i have checked all the reflectors and i can conect so im not blocked ?? just openspot will not conect any help of advice how i can resolve the issue please

just seem very stragne

Try using a different network connection (switch between your phone and home internet connection). If the server still not accepts your connection then please ask the server admins about the issue.

i have done this same issue even tried at work completly diferent network same issue not using my iphone

i have tonight tried it on another person house network same issue does not conect to ref 001c

I have tried his phone which is an andriod same issue

so it faulty !!!!!!!!!!

the reflecter is not down as i can conect to it from my zumsopt

as its onlt three days old can i return it and upgrade to a openspot 4 pro and see if this makes a difernsce i know i will have to retun and pay more ?????

Please make sure you are not logged in with your Zumspot as they only
allow one connection.

I know I turned on my zunspot to confirm I I was still ok and not banned from ref 001c as the open spot will not connect !!!!

Check the dashboard for REF001 - http://ref001.dstargateway.org/

Search for your callsign and ensure you don't have another connection to it. If you can connect with your Openspot, there will probably be a "D" appended to the end of your callsign.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and see how many "remote users" (hotspots) are connected to it. The REF reflectors support a finite number of connections. This one allows about 853 before it starts disallowing others to connect.

Unfortunately many users aren't aware of this and park their hotspots on REF001C 24x7 and lock others out. I always unlink (or turn off) my OS4 Pro when I'm not actively using it. While unlinking put the OS4 in a null connection (openspot special connector active), one can exit the mode by changing reflectors or changing it in the web gui. btw, REF0030 allows ~ 900 remote users.

Looking at the http://ref001.dstargateway.org/ now (20:46 UTC on 8/27) the user's Openspot 4 is connected to REF001.

A friend of mine sent me a snippet of the reflector's log file and his earlier attempts were blocked due it a second hotspot attempting to connect to REF001 from his IP address.

As I said in my other message, the DSTAR reflectors support a finite number of connections. REF001 and REF030 only allow one connection from a hotspot. If you aren't actively listening to either of these reflectors, please turn off your Openspot or unlink from these reflectors, so others can utilize them.
