I am using OpenSPOT 4 Pro.
I wish to use network only connection to DSTAR with Openspot.
It works OK on laptop Win10 while using Firefox browser and SharkRF link for windows.
Both SharkRF and Openspot webpage continue to work correctly...
I want to use network only connection to DSTAR on Samsung S8 Android 9 using Firefox browser.
I am using same router with static IP addresses for router and all connected devices.
I have dissabled all battery saving modes and have wifi connection during sleep, etc.
I have set screen sleep delay to maximum (10 mins).
Each time I reboot Android and start SharkRF.link all is well until either,
I disconnect SharkRF.link by using back arrow at top of screen and wait a few minutes to restart app, or
allow the sleep mode to activate when about 2mins later there is a message on web page
"connecting to reflector"....I also see a message "Can't get device information from online database".
When I check database with URL it looks OK.
Any attempt to reconnect with SharkRF.link does not anounce connection via phone speaker
and pressing PTT button does nothing, ie no transmission. The status is shown connected.
The webpage appears to continue operation correctly.
The only way I can get SharkRF.link to transmit via PTT again is to reboot Android.
Tethering to Android phone network has same problem.
A friend is using iphone without problem.
