Hello, can any of you tell me how to update the XLX server list???? there is a new XLXCAT reflector and I can't get openspot4 to connect.
Thank you so much
Edward

Our server list database updates daily. Wait 1-2 days (until all CDN caches are refreshed). In the meantime, you can manually enter the server address at the DCS/XLX connector settings (make sure Advanced mode is enabled at the bottom right of the web interface to see the Server address field).

thank you very much.

Hello Norbert, if I can connect to XLXCATAL from the shark app but, when I try to link from icom 52 it is not possible, it happens with all the reflectors that are with letters and not numbers, is possible??
thank you.
Eduard

You can only connect to numbered servers using your transceiver. Use the web interface or the app to connect to non-numbered servers.

This behavior will be changed in the next beta firmware v67, which will be released on Monday, and you'll be able to connect to DCS/XLX non-numbered servers using the destination callsign method.

Thank you Norbert.

Hello,
Is it possible to make point-to-point calls in Dstar between Openspot users from the sharkrf server ???? already understanding that in openquad it is not possible from Openspot.
Thanks, as always.
Edward.

If you want to link more than 2 openSPOTs together in a private network, then you can use our open source SharkRF IP Connector Protocol server (https://github.com/sharkrf/srf-ip-conn-srv)
If you only want to link 2 openSPOTs together in a private network, then you can set up one openSPOT as a SharkRF IP Connector Protocol server and one as a client. Make sure you've set up port forwarding correctly on the router on the server side.

If you don't care about private networks then you can connect to BrandMeister for example with all openSPOTs. Send all calls to the same talkgroup and the server will link you together. BrandMeister is a DMR server but the openSPOT will handle transcoding from D-STAR for you.

It has been several days since REF004, REF038, REF039, REF040 and REF049 got their new IPs.... yet OpenSpot 4 shows old IP addresses. When I try and update them by adding a New Server, it reverts back to the old IP.

Try refreshing the web interface by pressing shift+F5 several times quickly, or try clearing the cache in your browser.
