This is my observation on discharge rate so far, again I am new to the openspot so YMMV. I started with 87% and so far, the discharge rate appears to be almost 1% almost every 11 minutes just monitoring. That is acceptable to me. Transmit would shorten this, but I am satisfied with the discharge rate so far.
