We've just tested this and it works correctly even when the server is not connected. Make sure the modem mode is set to DMR when the srf-ip-conn client connector is active. Look at the device log on the Status page to find out what's happening (make sure Advanced mode is enabled at the bottom right of the web interface to see the device log).
