VW on openspot 4 pro

Hi ,

Can anybody help?

I have an openspot 4 pro, v70 loaded.

I'm using an Icom ID-51E handheld and trying to cross mode to YSF.

When stations on YSF use VW mode instead of DN mode I cannot hear them even though I can see they are txing.

Is there a setting/method I have missed that allows me to hear VW?

I am not that clued up on YSF to know the difference or where to look.

The codecs available in the OS4 pro for operating cross mode don't include the ability to go from the IMBE codec used in VW mode on YSF to the AMBE-based codecs used for DSTAR, DMR and NXDN. You would need a Yaesu radio to do that, or one that supports P25.
