I am having a very frustrating time with my OpenSPOT 3. It seems to be working fine - I use it while out walking the dog, with the OS3 tethered to my iPhone, but occasionally I get the message "OpenSPOT Disconnected" then about a second or two later, I get the reconnected message. The OS3 LED sometimes goes from red to green (but not always) then back to red as it reconnects with a QSO in progress. Occasionally it will drop the current QSO and then recover about twice a second making the whole QSO unintelligible.
I've looked at the phone and most of the time, it seems to be on 5G with occasionally a drop to 4G, but that doesn't seem to have any bearing on the dropouts.
I use several profiles, some D-Star and some DMR and although D-Star seems slightly more stable, it happens on all profiles.
I've tried everything I can think of to isolate the problem, but whenever I think I've found the solution, it just proves me wrong.
Can anyone suggest anything else I can try?
